Switch your Instagram account to a business account

Skip this step if you already have a Instagram business account.

Before you set up a business account, you need to have a personal Instagram profile. If you don’t already have one, create an IG account and username

 

To switch your personal profile to a business account:

Log in to Instagram.

Go to Settings, and then tap Account.

Scroll down to choose Switch to professional account.

Select Business, and then tap Next.

Learn about the Professional Tools features and then tap Next.

Choose a category that best describes what you do. Select whether to hide or display your category, and then tap Done.

Note: If your profile is private, this process makes it public and accepts all pending follow requests.
